Again with hurting but a fantastic night. Lars played with the Aquabats in Leeds last night so up the M1 I toddled to see him. I'm getting good at this whole... finding a venue thing. I got to Leeds, parked up, found the venue all quite smoothly so was feeling pretty damn proud of myself to be honest.

Lars was only opening for the Aquabats so it was a shorter set and he only played a couple of new songs, sticking to the more known ones. Which admittedly got the crowd going but I liked hearing the new songs. Suppose it's different when its his own set though.

I'm not a fan of the Aquabats at all though so I didn't stick around long after Lars had finished. Chatted to Lars & DJ for a bit, managed to go flying though: crutch hit a wet patch (spilled beer or something) and I started to just skid but Lars luckily caught me.

Also, with it being a Good To Go date, I got to see my mate Mike as well, so had a bit of a catchup, which was good.

Next Lars date is tomorrow, in London, at the Islington Academy and I'm taking the lovely The Girl with me, so it should be good :)
Although, admittedly, it's another Aquabats show. Hmm must remember to tell Mike to behave LOL It's also the last date that DJ's gonna be on *pouts*

Only real plan for today is job centre appointment at 11:00... other than that, things are looking pretty damn dire out there. So no, I shouldn't be going to these gigs but ehh sometimes you gotta do the things that mean something to do, gotta do something to make you smile.
